Shueisha has officially rolled out Manga Million, a brand-new global digital manga service available in over 100 languages—including English, Spanish, Hindi, French, Arabic, Tagalog, Korean, Turkish, and Polish. Debuting with a catalog of 400 titles, the platform delivers an impressive one million pages of translated manga right out of the gate.

According to the publisher, more than 150 of the launch titles fall under the shojo demographic. The robust lineup features major hits such as ONE PIECE, Naruto, Bleach, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kingdom, Oshi no Ko, SPY×FAMILY, Chainsaw Man, NANA, and Kimi ni Todoke – From Me to You, among many others.
For now, users can access the platform for free without needing to register, though Shueisha noted that a definitive timeline for how long free access will last has not yet been set. The publisher also confirmed that no artificial intelligence was utilized for translations. Instead, the company emphasized in its announcement, “International licensing partners from around the world provided support for this unprecedented translation endeavor, making MANGA MILLION one of the largest initiatives in Shueisha‘s history.”
Shuhei Hosono, Editor-in-Chief of MANGA Plus by Shueisha and the driving force behind Manga Million, shared his thoughts on the release:
The project began with a simple question: what if we marked Shueisha‘s 100th anniversary by translating one million pages of manga into 100 languages? As we developed the concept, we also saw it as a way to address the language barriers that still prevent many readers around the world from accessing manga. We hope that MANGA MILLION, an unprecedented translation initiative spanning 100 languages and one million pages, will spark new discoveries and connections between readers and Japanese manga.
In addition to this new venture, Shueisha continues to manage the MANGA Plus app and website, which serves readers globally (excluding Japan, China, and South Korea). While MANGA Plus primarily highlights shonen hits from publications like Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump SQ., Weekly Young Jump, and the Shonen Jump+ digital platform, Manga Million expands the publisher’s international reach even further.
