Publisher FuRyu has dropped fresh trailers and launched limited-time Steam demos for two of its upcoming titles: the dark action roguelike CRYMELIGHT and the survival horror game ANOMALITH.

The Steam demos are available right now—running from July 31 at 12:00 p.m. EDT through August 9 at 10:59 a.m. EDT—to celebrate the platform’s "Six One Demo Days" event.

Here is a breakdown of what to expect from both games:

CRYMELIGHT

  • Release Date: November 5
  • Platforms: PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam)
  • Overview: The latest addition to FuRyu’s signature "dark bishōjo action" CRY series (which includes CRYSTAR and CRYMACHINA), CRYMELIGHT is a roguelike adventure. Players step into the shoes of "Alice," an amnesiac young girl who must descend to the deepest level of Purgatory to earn her "Rebirth." Starting from the sanctuary known as "The Tea Party," Alice will venture into the prison realm of "Wonderland," battling madness-born foes while confronting her past sins.
  • Editions: A digital Deluxe Edition will be available, featuring six DLC items, a digital artbook, an 11-track soundtrack album, and three voice drama tracks.
  • Key Staff: Plot and story supervisor Naoki Hisaya returns from previous CRY titles, alongside composer Sakuzyo and animator RIRI Yamashita. Character designs are handled by YOGISYA.

ANOMALITH

  • Release Date: October 29
  • Platforms: PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam)
  • Developer: Winning Entertainment Group (formerly Natsume Atari)
  • Overview: This anomaly-based survival horror game is set in an alternate 20th century where mysterious spatial rifts called "Otherworlds" suddenly emerge. With the government’s Danger Zone Countermeasures Office failing to stop the threat, players control Reona Minazuki. After waking up from a 10-year slumber inside an anomaly dubbed the "Sarcophagus," Reona gains heightened sensitivity to the Otherworlds and must work with her allies to protect humanity and save a close friend.
  • Key Staff: The scenario is penned by Humanity Has Declined creator Romeo Tanaka. The atmospheric soundtrack is composed by Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring, Witch Hat Atelier), and character designs are created by MON (Legends series).
