Anna Nagase joins the cast of *Draw This, Then Die!* as manga creator Loups Garous in this week’s episode 6.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Minoru Toyoda’s Draw This, Then Die! (Kore Kaite Shine) manga announced that Anna Nagase has joined the voice cast. She will portray Loups Garous, a pen-name-using manga artist whom the protagonist Yasumi encounters at Comitia. The character is slated to make her debut in the series’ sixth episode this week.

Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the English release of the manga, outlining the plot as follows:
Ai Yasumi is a first-year high school student living on the remote island of Izu Ōshima with a singular obsession: manga. When she learns that her reclusive idol, acclaimed manga creator Yasuno-sensei, will make a rare appearance at Comitia, Ai resolves to meet her hero. That single-minded journey sparks a series of life-changing encounters that challenge her perspective on art, creative genius, and the true nature of storytelling.
The production features the following key creative team:
Hiroaki Akagi (*The Dangers in My Heart*, *Teasing Master Takagi-san*) directs the series at Shinei Animation. Hiroko Fukuda (*Teasing Master Takagi-san the Movie*, *Our Dating Story*) handles series composition and shares scriptwriting duties with Aki Itami and Kanichi Katō. Takekazu Segawa serves as the sub-character designer.

Tatsuya Kitani performs the opening theme song, “Isho,” while Regal Lily provides the ending theme, “Conifer.”
The anime premiered on July 3 as part of NTV’s expanded “Friday Anime Night” programming block. Crunchyroll is currently simulcasting the series as it airs in Japan.
Minoru Toyoda (*Love Roma*) originally launched the manga in Shogakukan’s *Monthly Shonen Sunday* magazine in November 2021, with serialization also available via *Sunday Webry*.
The acclaimed series has received multiple accolades, including a win at the 70th Shogakukan Manga Awards, the 16th Manga Taisho Awards, and a top ranking in Takarajimasha’s *Kono Manga ga Sugoi!* guidebook.
