To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the beloved *Persona* franchise, SEGA Publishing Korea is treating fans to a special, limited-time streaming lineup. Starting with the *PERSONA3 THE MOVIE* series, various anime adaptations from *Persona 4* and *Persona 5* will roll out sequentially on YouTube for free viewing.
SEGA Publishing Korea CEO Ko Saito announced on August 7 that all four installments of *PERSONA3 THE MOVIE* are now streaming on the official SEGA YouTube channel, available until August 31. This kickoff will be followed by free, limited-time releases of the TV anime series *Persona 4 The Golden* and *PERSONA5 THE ANIMATION*.
Following the current availability of *PERSONA3 THE MOVIE* through August 31, the 12-episode *Persona 4 The Golden* will be accessible from August 18 to September 17. Afterward, *PERSONA5 THE ANIMATION*—which includes *The Day Breakers* and two year-end specials—will be available to watch from September 15 to October 14.
In addition to the anime screenings, SEGA is launching a special social media campaign for the franchise’s 30th milestone. Dubbed “Passionate Messages for Persona,” the event invites fans to submit personal messages filled with congratulatory wishes, fond memories, and words of support.
Submissions are open from August 4 to 16 and must be kept to 30 characters or fewer. Selected entries will be compiled into an official 30th-anniversary commemorative video and showcased on prominent digital billboards across major cities.
The *Persona* franchise marks its 30th anniversary in 2026, tracing its roots back to the release of the original *Revelations: Persona*. The acclaimed juvenile RPG series is celebrated for its modern-day Japanese settings, uniquely blending everyday adolescent experiences like school life, friendships, and romance with dark occult themes, mysterious rumors, and urban legends.
At its core, the series follows groups of youths who awaken to their “Persona”—a powerful alternate self manifesting as a deity or demon—as they navigate harrowing challenges, bond with one another, and grow through adversity.
